Buffalo is a hometown pride kind of city. We take pride in the region, the people and certainly, our Bills and Sabres.

Food is another huge sense of pride. Anytime a national website or celebrity commends our food or restaurants, we always appreciate it.

Wings are probably the number one food that people know Buffalo for. That's fine, since we fully embrace it. One Bills player who recently made a comeback to Buffalo, did just that.

Defensive end Shaq Lawson was first drafted by the Bills in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He was in Buffalo through 2019, when he left via free agency. Lawson signed back with the Bills on a one-year contract last week and in his first meeting with the media on Wednesday, Lawson mentioned how he could not find any good wings outside of Buffalo.

Lawson mentioned how he wanted to come back to Buffalo, which was a sentiment shared by defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, who also signed back with the Bills on a one-year contract after leaving in 2020.

Lawson's a character off the field but he loved his time with the Bills, as did Phillips.

In fact, Jordan Phillips said he didn't miss a Bills game when he left the team. Yes, he kept up with the team and their record while he was playing for the Arizona Cardinals. That's how important the city of Buffalo is to him.

I'm just wondering which wings are Shaq Lawson's favorite in Western New York?
