Sean McDermott With Curious Words About Bill Belichick [VIDEO]

It was an ugly football game played at Highmark Stadium on Monday night.

The New England Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills 14-10. The Patriots attempted just three passes with Mac Jones and ran the ball over 40 times for well over 200 yards -- 64 yards of it coming on a Damien Harris touchdown run, New England's only touchdown of the game.

The Bills only touchdown came on 14-yard pass to Gabriel Davis.

Josh Allen threw for 145 yards on 15 completions, which was actually very impressive in that 40 mph wind gusts, which caused both teams to alter game plans, and why New England decided to exclusively run the ball the entire night.

Emotions ran hot during postgame as Micah Hyde went viral for his comments after a question by a local reporter, asking in part on whether or they felt "embarrassed?"

That wasn't the only interesting thing to come out of the postgame comments.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott made it very clear that Patriots head coach Bill Belichick didn't need more credited than he needed after that win. McDermott said the loss was due to the Bills lack of capitalizing on their chances in the red zone and field position.

McDermott's comments are obviously being taken in a way where he's admitting that Belichick out-coached him in that game, which I would agree with; but I get where he is coming from here and yes, the Bills would have won if they had just scored on their four red zone attempts. A missed field goal and a turnover on downs were 10 points left on the board.

The Patriots run game didn't exactly run all over the Bills like the Colts did a couple of weeks ago.

Take away the 64-yard Damien Harris run (which linebacker Tremaine Edmunds over pursued), and the Bills outgained New England by nearly 70 yards. The Bills also had 16 first downs in that game, which is a pretty amazing stat considering the wind and they only managed 10 points. The Patriots had 10 first downs. Both teams had the same number of drives.

The Bills have serious flaws in the run game on offense and the coaching has been concerning, as far as time management and play calling. That kind of game we saw on Monday night, however, is a very rare circumstance and chances are we don't see it again for a very long time.

The Bills had plenty of chances to win that game, but didn't capitalize. Last year they do, but this year, it's a much different story.
