Seafood & Bar Restaurant Coming to Western New York
When I was a kid, going to restaurants was one of my favorite activities. To be honest, it's still that way as an adult. I love going out to eat, even when we have food at home.
Going out for seafood is an extra special occasion, especially since it can be more pricey than let's say, a burger joint.
Here in Western New York, we have many great local places for seafood. If you live down in the Hamburg area, places like Rodney's, Lucia's and Hoak's are always fine choices, especially if you want views of Lake Erie.
A tradition my family had every year for the holidays was going to Hayes Seafood Market, which is another great option.
There's now another place that will add yet another seafood restaurant to Western New York, and it will be in Blasdell.
According to their Facebook page, Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood and Bar will be opening soon in Blasdell on McKinley Pkwy.
Hook & Reel is a national chain, which specializes in seafood, with a Cajun twist. It will be in the old Ruby Tuesday building near Milestrip.
My fiancee is not a big fan of seafood, but I try and go to these sorts of places every now and then, since I'm a big seafood fan.
Let us know if there are any other new restaurants opening in Western New York this spring or summer. Seafood in Buffalo is severely underrated.
