No matter the meat of choice, the key to getting that golden crispy crunch when deep frying is the dredge but dredging with a dry mixture and a wet substance like eggs is the MAJOR key!

For this crispy fried fish recipe, Haddock was used which is no stranger to us Western New Yorkers, but for those who may not be familiar Haddock is a meaty, white fish that stands up well to deep-frying. You can use the dredge on any meat/poultry however, try it with chicken, shrimp, deep-fried ribs or pretty much any meat that can stand up to being deep fried.
