Rare Sunset Forecasted for New York State
When you think of everyday things that are beautiful, it doesn’t take long for you to get to the weather.
Sometimes it’s easy to take for granted the fact we have phenomenons like double rainbows, snow on Christmas Eve or even the Aurora Borealis; which can sometimes be seen as far south as Western New York.

Sunsets are sunrises are also something many of us take for granted. You have a rare chance to catch a potentially spectacular sunset tonight in Western New York and across the State of New York.
According to the National Weather Service, a very colorful sunset is forecasted for Friday evening across much of New York State.
The reason is due to the smoke from the wildfires out west, which are over the region on Friday. That along with the clear skies will offer an amazing sunset for many in New York State.
The weather will cooperate too since it’s all sunshine and clear skies tonight.
As for the weather on Saturday and Sunday, the first half of the weekend should be better than the second half. Rain will move in late on Sunday and rain will be the story on Monday and Tuesday, with thunderstorms possible as well.
We have less than two weeks before the official start of autumn, which will be on September 22nd.
Be on the lookout for the sunset on Friday evening though and make sure to take pictures while you can!
