The principal who caused a stir after making racist remarks at a graduation, has officially been fired.

Principal Nancy Gordeuk was the topic of discussion after video began to circulate of her making racist remarks. As the Principal of TNT Academy, while leading the graduation ceremony Gordeuk forgot to allow the Valedictorian of the class to give their speech, and lost some people as they began to head for the exit after thinking the ceremony was over.

After trying to regather the audience and keep them in the ceremony for the speech, she made a remark that she will forever regret, "Look who is leaving, all of the black people."

Her comments caused much stir, but also has costed her job as TNT Academy directors have decided to terminate her employment.

Georgia NAACP President Francys Johnson stated that the organization is very pleased with the board's decision of firing Gordeuk, “Beyond the inappropriate remarks, the former principal attempted to legitimize the bizarre episode by claiming ‘the devil made her do it,'” Johnson said in a statement to 11Alive News. “This is not just about Mrs. Gordeuk’s comments. The NAACP would defend Mrs. Gordeuk’s right as a private citizen to free speech. However, those entrusted with responsibility for our children must set a high standard marked by civility. That is obviously a test the former principal failed.”
