One of the most anticipated events of the year is upon us and it is expected that around 1 million people will travel to Central New York this month to attend the 181st New York State Fair.

There are so many great things to do at the state fair, It is really one of the favorite things that I put on my summer bucket list and there are tons of reasons why.

You have all the typical fair stuff like nods to agriculture, rides, and of course fried dough. But, if there is one thing in particular that truly I love about the Great New York State Fair it has to be the concerts.

I have attended several fairs in my day, and very few of them offer the same level of entertainment that I have seen at the New York State Fairgrounds. Unlike other fairs that offer entertainment, the best part is that you can see all sorts of artists for just the cost of admission to the fair, which is only $6; while other fairs charge an additional ticket price to see a concert.
