Free college tuition? Say word! Gov. Andrew Cuomo proposed offering free tuition at state colleges and universities!

You or your children could get a free college education as residents of New York! The plan will cost about $163 million a year, according to WGRZ. The plan would take three years and students would be able to get free tuition at state colleges and universities if their families earn $125,000 or less per year.

The legislature would have to approve the plan, which would cover both two and four-year colleges. Under the plan students would still be responsible for their own room and board would not be free.
