Meet The Go Getta Edreys Wajed [The Go Getta Mix With ADRI.V]

Every week I, ADRI.V The Go Getta look to feature and interview a young mover and shaker who embodies the “Go Getta Spirit” and is doing great things for the people and themselves in the Western New York and Southern Ontario community.

Having the blessed opportunity of having my show “The Go Getta Mix” I look to use my platform to acknowledge those people nominated as “The Go Getta of The Week”.

Meet The Go Getta  Edreys Wajed, The Go Get of the Week.

Edreys is a creative, brilliant-minded “renaissance man” with many years of experience & successes with a strong history of community involvement and influence.  His goal is to use art, music and entrepreneurship as a means of communicating, connecting, empowering and inspiring communities for positive change!

Edreys is a product of City Honors High School and Buffalo State College.  His job titles include everything from managing businesses, teaching, rapping and motivation speaking.

As a part of his latest endeavor, he was selected along with 3 other artist to as a partnership with the Albright Knox Art Gallery Public Art Initiative and Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority to create the "Freedom Wall” (working title) located at Michigan Ave and E. Ferry St.

The wall features 28 African American leaders, 14 of them local celebrates the freedom, cultural expression and self- determination these individuals embodied.  There is a ribbon cutting that will be schedule for mid-September.
