Max B is coming home earlier than expected and fans are freaking out. Today (Sept. 16), word spread that the Harlem rapper's 75-year prison sentence was reducedWiz Khalifa tweeted this afternoon that Max B got his sentence shortened, saying, "Looks like the Gang will be working wit the Wave."

French Montana, one of Max's closest cohorts, confirmed the news shortly after on his own Instagram, posting a screenshot of a conversation he had with an anonymous party about Max's reduced sentence. The messages read, “All of Max charges have been dropped and he entered into a plea deal and took aggravated manslaughter. Best case scenario Max could be home in 2 years. Worst case scenario he can be home in 6.”

In other words, it's official. Max B, a.k.a Biggaveli, a.k.a the Wave God, a.k.a The Wavy One, could be out of prison by 2018 at the earliest.

Back in 2009, Max and his stepbrother were charged with taking part in a deadly robbery at a northern New Jersey hotel. The two were convicted of armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and felony murder and sentenced to 75 years in prison. Though rumors of an appeal have surfaced over the years, this is the first positive development in the case.

As soon as news broke that Max B would in fact be released from prison in two to six years instead of his original 75, Biggaveli's fans on social media went crazy. Max B's name began trending on Twitter with fans tweeting their favorite Wave God songs and forecasting collabs for when he finally gets out.
