Baltimore, Maryland-born Mario Dewar Barrett, who is better known as the singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and model named Mario is performing live in Western New York and he will be bringing plenty of friends with him.

Mario first hit the Hip Hop & R&B scene in 2001 with his debut album titled Mario. This album featured the lead single Just a Friend which was a cover/remake of Biz Markie's 1989 Platinum-selling single of the same name. During Mario's more than 20-year singing career, he's released 5 studio albums, with Mario going Gold and Turning Point going Platinum. 4 of Mario's 5 albums have reached the Top-10 on the US R&B charts, along with 4 of his singles.

In addition to singing, Mario is an accomplished actor, dancer, and songwriter having appeared in several movies, musicals, and TV shows, including the hit show Empire.

Mario will be performing live at the Water Street Music Hall in Rochester on Friday, May 6, 2022, with doors opening at 8 p.m. Tickets are available now and range in price from $35 to $70. You can find tickets online here.
