Get Ready For Mary J. Blige In Buffalo

Looking at the 2024 entertainment season, you would think having a better year for concerts, events, and shows would be hard.

Just take a look at who we've had come through Western New York and Southern Ontario already this year as so far we've had Drake and J.Cole, Shaboozey, Robin Thicke, Musiq Soulchild, Silk, French Montana, Mya, Xscape, SWV, Total, 702, Rob Base, Vanilla Ice, Young MC, Big Boi, T.I., TLC, Digital Underground, Tone Loc, The Ying Yang Twins, Pitbull, T-Pain, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Fat Joe, Diana Ross, Ice Cube, Flo Rida, Janet Jackson, Lionel Richie, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Bell Biv DeVoe, Soulja Boy, and Jodeci all hit the region - and that's to name a small handful of performances. By all accounts, 2025 will have to work hard to top 2024.

However, a few shows have been announced that look like it will set the tone next year. One of those shows was just announced, and it's poised to be great.

The Queen Mary J. Blige Is Coming To Western New York

Known affectionately as the Queen of R&B and the Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary Jane Blige announced on her social media pages that she's going on the road in 2025 and bringing Ne-Yo and Mario.

The For My Fans Tour is set to trek all over North America, making stops in several cities, including New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Toronto, Buffalo, and more.

Western New York is ready for her Buffalo show, as she's set to hit the KeyBank Center on Saturday, March 22, 2025, for a night of R&B fun.

Who Is MJB

Born in The Bronx, New York, Mary Jane Blige is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, actress, and entrepreneur who has entertained generations of fans for decades.

Getting her start in the music business in 1988 at the age of 17, Blige started as a backup singer for Father MC, Jeff Redd, and others. MJB released her debut album, What's the 411?, in 1992 and is often credited as one of the first artists to successfully mix R&B and rap together and inject it into mainstream culture.

Since then, the Queen of R&B has released 14 studio albums, headlined 15 tours, appeared in more than 15 movies and 50 television shows, and earned numerous awards and accolades. Those acknowledgments include several RIAA Gold and Platinum Album/Singles Awards, ten Grammys, two BET Awards, four American Music Awards, twelve NAACP Image Awards, twelve Billboard Music Awards, plus has been nominated for three Golden Globes and two Academy Awards.
