
Maid Of The Mist Is Back In It’s In 141st Season Niagara Falls
All around Western New York, you will find all kinds of signs that spring has finally made a return to the region.
Not only do we have playoff lacrosse and hockey still happening with the Bandits and Sabres in the postseason. We have tons of other outside activities coming alive. Things like the ice boom coming out of Lake Erie and the Cherry Blossom Festival are clear signs that spring is back.
But, there is one quintessential activity in Western New York that marks the nice weather is on the way, and it's back for its 141st season in the Niagara Gorge.
The Historic Maid Of The Mist Is Celebrating Its 141st Year In Service
Imagine, for a second, taking a sightseeing boat tour to the base of the mighty Niagara Falls as more than 600,000 gallons of water per second falls towards you after falling 188 feet to the lower Niagara River, just a few yards from where you're watching from the deck(s) of the James V Glenn or the Nikola Tesla.
That's what it's like on the Maid of the Mist, and your chance to experience it all is back for another season in Western New York as the sightseeing tour is back up for another year.

What started as a ferry service in 1846 has turned into one of the most popular activities to do in Niagara Falls, and it gives you amazing views of the river and falls as the two powerful 96-ton electric-powered boats can transport 600 passengers each trip.
