Six days before Beyonce kicks off her European tour in Paris on April 24, the R&B queen has announced that Luke James will be her featured opening act.

"Luke James is a gifted singer and songwriter and what he does on stage with his pure falsetto is incredible." Beyonce said in a statement. "I am excited to have him join the tour and to introduce this soulful singer to an audience in Europe that will be discovering a true star."

James will be sharing the stage with Bey from April 24 to May 29 and hitting up a slew of spots including London, Milan, Berlin and Stockholm.

"It is such an unimaginable honor to be sharing the light yet again with Beyoncé on her sold out Mrs. Carter Show World Tour," said Luke James. "This is a blessing that I do not take lightly. Thank you Beyonce."

The two have worked together in the past. He was the opening act for four of Bey's shows at Revel nightclub in Atlantic City, N.J., as well as made an appearance in her 'Run the World (Girls)' video.

James is currently working on two studio projects -- his pre-album, 'Whispers in the Dark,' and his debut LP, 'Made to Love,' out via N.A.R.S./Island Def Jam. He will also be appearing on the silver screen alongside Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige in the upcoming film, 'Black Nativity.'
