Ludacris Is Coming To The New York State Fair
Fair season is quickly approaching, and as we get closer, fair officials around the state are beginning to make announcements about the type of entertainment that will be available to patrons.
New York State, which features two of the best fairs in the country with the Erie County Fair and the Great New York State Fair, has no shortage of great things to do this summer. If catching a concert is on your agenda of things to do, then you don't have to look very far.
The Erie County Fair has already announced some good shows this year with Flo Rida and Yung Grazy. Not to be outdone, the New York State Fair just announced that famed actor and multi-platinum recording star Ludacris will be at the fairgrounds this summer.
Who Is Ludacris?
Christopher Brian Bridges, who is better known by his stage name Ludacris, was born in Illinois and moved to the Atlanta area with his family as a teenager. Ludacris got his start in the music industry as a radio DJ in Atlanta before transitioning to being a rapper fully time.
Over his career, Luda has released several studio albums, appeared in the top 40 music charts at least 35 times, and has earned multiple gold and platinum album awards. In addition to his successful music career, Ludacris has also appeared in several television shows and movies and is probably most famous for his role as Tej in the Fast and the Furious movie franchise.
Catch Ludacris At The Erie County Fair
Luda is set to grace the Suburban Park Stage inside the Great New York State Fair on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 8 pm.
This will mark Ludacris' 2nd appearance at the New York State Fair. He performed previously in 2018, drawing a crowd of more than 30,000 people.
The 2023 New York State Fair kicks off on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, and will run through Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2023.
