The most powerful station in Western New York for Hip Hop & R&B has a long history of playing some of the best local music from Buffalo, Western New York, and Southern Ontario. From some of the biggest artists of today to someone just bubbling, 93.7 WBLK has been a hub for giving rappers and singers from the region a chance to get their music heard by the masses. Your family at Power 93.7 WBLK knows that being a music artist isn't easy; every day we give you a chance to shine, and we keep creating opportunities for you to move to the next level in this music business.

To help make that a reality, Power 93.7 WBLK is accepting songs from Buffalo, WNY, and Ontario artists for airplay on Home Grown Heat, the 716 Show, and the 716 @ 7 that airs every day with XXL Higher Level Radio and the Nicest Radio Show PeriodT. If you got a song that you think is worthy to be heard by the town, send us your song here.

Buffalo Comes Outside For Elevated Vibes

As Western New York wrapped up the 4th of July weekend, several hundred extremely stylish people gathered along the water's edge at Templeton Landing to enjoy some warm weather and summer Fun at Elevated Vibes, a rooftop party presented by The Collective, featuring music by DJ Kholes, DJ Spin, DJ Dynamic, and DJ Mr.Illmatic on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

The Buffalo AKG Public Art Initiative Collaborates with Bree Gilliam for New Mural

Bright sunny skies greeted a few dozen people who gathered at the corner of Bailey and Kensington in Buffalo’s University District to celebrate a new mural that was painted on the side of a brand new structure being built. The building, located at 3070 Bailey Ave in Buffalo, is the new home for Evergreen Health and affiliate Community Access Services, and the new mural was developed and installed thanks to a new initiative from the Buffalo AKG to give local artists more opportunities for their work to be highlighted. The new mural, which features two figures looking upwards, with bright smiles on their faces while flanked by a colorful sky that can be read as a sunrise, and standing together among a field of daisies, was created by Buffalo-born artist Bree Gilliam.
