Fresh off the stage with DJ Khaled at the opening night of Beyonce's "Formation" World Tour, Lil Wayne drops a newly mixed and mastered version of his soulful rap song, "Do It Again."

Produced by StreetRunner, the track was previously leaked around 2008 but was a rough mix. But Wayne decided to drop the Tommy Peluso-mixed and mastered version via Soundcloud on Thursday (April 28).

“I know this song leaked [before 2008’s Tha Carter III],” Tunechi said (via Rap-Up). “Not sure exactly when. I always had a love for this record. Super soulful vibe.”

The vibe is certainly nostalgic. On the song, Weezy gets reflective as he outlines changes he would make in his life if he could do it all again.

"I got my business together / Wish I could get together / But timing is an error / And I / Tell a lie / To you like ever / If I was even ever / Given another chance to / Do it again,” he rhymes.

“Do It Again” follows a series of free music Wayne has gifted fans who have been waiting for the arrival of his oft-delayed album, Tha Carter V. In the meantime, the 33-year-old rhymer announced that he was  working on "some crazy s--- for a mixtape" with DJ Drama, which could mean Dedication 6 is right around the corner too.
