Buffalo Airport Refuses To Play TSA Government Shutdown Video
With the current federal government shutdown going into its 13th day, Americans all over the nation are truly starting to feel the pain of not having access to the services and benefits they've paid for with their taxes. There is plenty of blame being tossed around by people in every corner of the United States.
On one hand, you have most political pundits and people who pay attention to politics pointing to the current Presidential administration and Republican leaders in Congress point to the fact that the party in power has a responsibility to lead a government that works for everyone, while the Trump administration and those who are part of the executive branch are pointing squarely at members of the Democrat party as those who closed the government because they didn't get their way.
Regardless of who you blame, things are only going to get worse for Federal Employees who have been furloughed and/or are still required to work without pay, along with those who depend on the federal government to operate effectively to be able to get by with their lives.

That includes people who need to use airports around the nation, as security lines get longer due to delays with staff who work for the Transportation Security Agency. The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, has instructed airports around the nation to play a video that casts the blame squarely on the Democrats.

However, it seems that airports around the country are not following those instructions, as the video is seen by many as propaganda.
The Buffalo Niagara International Airport is among a growing list of American airports that have opted out of playing this video, and it seems like the number of Airports that have said no is getting bigger every day.
While speaking to WGRZ-TV, a Spokesperson for the NFTA, which owns and operates BNIA, said "the NFTA's long-standing policy codified regulations pertaining to public service advertising prohibit partisan messaging in its facilities. Therefore, we are not airing this video on airport-controlled screens."
Since the shutdown doesn't look like it's going to end anytime soon, we're going to have to deal with more fallout in the coming days and weeks.
