The first practice was yesterday morning in front of packed stands. The Bills continue training camp with a morning practice on Monday.

The team’s first preseason game is just less than three weeks away and the excitement has never been higher for the franchise, as they are the favorites to win the Super Bowl.

Quite a few players got rousing ovations at camp in the first two days and the leader in that department was quarterback Josh Allen.

Allen looked good on Sunday and he had a few soundbites and “moments” on the first day of camp, including an awkward handshake moment with longtime NFL columnist, Peter King.

Josh also made it into a very popular video on social media when he signed a baby after practice. Yes, signed a baby.

Josh didn’t stop there. He signed another baby on Sunday too.

A notable occurrence in Sunday’s practice was rookie running back James Cook being behind third-year back Zack Moss in snaps, as well as Jamison Crowder being behind Isaiah McKenzie for number three on the wide receiver depth chart.

It feels like an “go earn it first” situation than where the Bills coaching staff actually believes the players will be slotted for week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Head coach Sean McDermott doesn’t want to give rookies or new free agents anything. The same goes for rookie first round pick, Kaiir Elam, who will battle with Dane Jackson for the CB2 position behind Tre’Davious White.
