The Buffalo Sabres will not make the playoffs once again but the 2021-2022 season has been much more enjoyable than the previous few years under Phil Housley and Ralph Krueger.

Head coach Don Granato has the Sabres playing like a team and the high-skill talent is playing up to their potential, including forward Tage Thompson, who has scored 36 goals this season with an eye on 40 before the campaign ends at the end of the month.

The Sabres just swept a home-and-home with Philadelphia Flyers this weekend. Buffalo won the first game at home on Saturday, and the second game on Easter Sunday in Philadelphia.

For the Saturday night game, the KeyBank Center had a man who is probably the most famous person in Buffalo at the moment: Josh Allen.

Allen was in attendance with his girlfriend Brittany and the crowd erupted when Allen was shown. They even played The Shout Song!

After the comeback win by Buffalo, Allen went down to the locker room to congratulate the Sabres players in his hoodie and it’s one of the best things you will see all year.

Josh and the Bills will begin off-season workouts this week and the NFL Draft is next Thursday-Saturday, so Bills Mafia will keep an eye on who the Bills take at 25th overall; as well as who goes in the second and third round on Friday night next week.

It’s been a fun last few weeks for Buffalo sports fans!
