The Buffalo Bills are currently in the final wild card playoff spot in the AFC at 7-5. While the Bills have had struggles in the running game and other facets on offense, quarterback Josh Allen has had another great statistical year, and was by far Buffalo's best player against the New England Patriots tough Monday night loss in the harsh winds.

Allen has won over many fans around Western New York and the NFL in general, both on and off the field. That's evident by a special award that Allen is now a finalist for this season.

Allen has been named one of this year's nominees for the 2021 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award, which is awarded each year to the NFL player who best demonstrates the qualities of "on-field" sportsmanship.

This is a cool award, because it means Allen's impressing his peers and NFL leaders enough to get recognition from this.

Many Bills fans probably want Allen to win two other trophies more, however: the Vince Lombardi trophy (awarded to the Super Bowl winner) and the league MVP, which Allen finished second in voting in 2020.

The Bills play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday on the road. Kickoff will be at 4:25 on CBS, as the network's game of the week.

The Bills will face quarterback Tom Brady for the first time since he left New England, and considering Brady is 43 and the Bills won't play the Bucs again until 2025, this is likely the last time the Bills will ever play Tom Brady.
