The stars were out for Jeezy's 39th birthday celebration. T.I., Fabolous, Ludacris and Jermaine Durpi were among the big names on hand for the festivities. Rising artists like Dave East and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie were also able to attend the Atlanta rapper's party.

Jeezy's 39th year is going to be an exciting one as he will be releasing the first album in his Trap or Die series. The "Go Getta" MC revealed his plans last month.

"You already know I came in this game hard as a mothafucka and that’s how we going out nigga,” Jeezy said. “Trap or Die 3 nigga, trust me. I’m announcing it – Trap or Die 3: The Album."

On top of that big news, one of Jeezy's partygoers just joined him on Def Jam Records. Last week, Dave East went on The Breakfast Club to announce he signed with the iconic label.

“It wasn’t the average me just signing to a major. I’m actually partners with them,” East said. “Mass Appeal is still the family. Nas is still going to be able to executive produce my album. It was a step forward for me. I was with Mass Appeal solely for almost two years. Nas really introduced the world to me. So that was ideal as far as me first coming in. It’s at a time now where a machine really helps what I’m trying to do, especially being from New York and not trying to stay in New York."

The 2016 XXL Freshman's announcement preceded the release of his much anticipated Kairi Chanel mixtape. Dave East unleashed that project to the world this past Friday (Sept. 30).
