The Buffalo Bills are heading into their week 5 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers banged up, which has been the case since their week 3 game against the Miami Dolphins.

Jordan Poyer, Dawson Knox, Christian Benford, Jake Kumerow and Jamison Crowder were all declared out on Friday and of course, Micah Hyde and Tommy Doyle were already declared out for the entire season.

The Bills also have multiple players questionable going into tomorrow’s first 1 p.m. home game of the season at Highmark Stadium, which is why Buffalo made quite a few moves on Saturday afternoon.

The Bills have announced they have signed wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins and cornerback Ja’Marcus Ingram to the 53-man roster.

The two roster spots were vacated by Jamison Crowder (WR), who was placed on injured reserve, and Brandin Bryant (DT), who was released.

The Bills also elevated Tanner Gentry (WR) and Joe-Giles Harris (LB).

The Gentry and Harris elevations from the practice squad means that there’s a decent chance Isaiah McKenzie and Tremaine Edmunds won’t be able to play tomorrow. Both are listed as questionable. McKenzie with a concussion and Edmunds with a hamstring injury.

Gentry and Harris were elevated, meaning they can be placed back on the practice squad on Monday. Hodgins and Ingram, however, were signed to the active roster…which means they are likely on the team for a while and would have to clear waivers to be placed back on the practice squad.

If McKenzie cannot play, that means the wide receivers against the Steelers would be Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Khalil Shakir, Isaiah Hodgins and Tanner Gentry.

If Edmunds cannot go, that means that rookie Terrel Bernard would likely start. The release of Brandin Bryant might indicate Ed Oliver and Jordan Phillips are both back in the lineup.
