Is The Black Church Dead?

There was a story posted on AOL Sunday (January 16, 2011) that asked the question: “Is the black church dead? Debate flares among African-American Christians”.

It seems that some are beginning to question the motives of churches and the Christian religion. I have maintained that there are a lot of blacks in this country who are spiritually enslaved. Before Africans were brought to this country, we were not followers of western Christianity—so why do most follow it today?
