Homicide Prevention Workshop to be Held Saturday

A homicide prevention workshop will be held in Buffalo this Saturday, June 5, 2021.  The workshop will take place at One In Christ Temple, located at 940 Broadway, starting at 12 noon.  The workshop, “Stop the Homicide Culture,” will feature guest speakers: Dr. Gelsey; counselor Terri Ann Howard M.S., Patrick Cray, former Buffalo Police Officer, and Maurice Howard, psychologist, according to a media alert sent to me.

Topics included in the workshop, according to information emailed to me, are:

-Why so many homicides

-What can we do as a community

-Where is our help?

The workshop is presented by the “Community Solution Foundation.”
