H”EAT” Up Summer With The Buffalo Italian Heritage Festival

I'm not the least bit Italian, however, I love Italian things- Mob movies such as Goodfellas and The Godfather , and Italian food. This weekend is the Sorrento Cheese Buffalo Italian Heritage Festival; I love to eat, so I'm grateful to live in a city that is big on food festivals.

From Thursday to Sunday this weekend Hertel Ave. will resemble an Italian piazza, complete with traditional and contemporary Italian music, carnival rides, and over 30 food vendors serving up Italian favorites. The Buffalo Italian Heritage Festival is the second largest Italian "street" festival in the United States, thanks to all the awesome vendors and food festival enthusiasts, such as myself. During my time out of the clubs and away from the decks this weekend I'll be down on Hertel sampling some of my personal Italian favorites: Italian sausage, stuffed banana peppers, and of course, pizza.
