Dayana Jackson was a 21-year-old mother, who was tragically shot to death at a gathering, according to WIVB. The shooting death of the young mother left her son, Ky’mere, without a mom. Dayana's sister, Tiana Weaver described Ky’mere to WIVB:

"He’s such a happy baby. As soon as you put a camera in front of him, he will smile, he loves taking pictures, he loves being around people.”

The gathering was on Koons Avenue and the shooting happened in the early hours of Sunday, June 28, 2020. Dayana was shot, as well as hit by a car, and another woman from Niagara Falls was also shot, according to WKBW. No arrests have been made in conection to the deadly shooting. If you have any information, you can contact police via phone or text at (716) 847-2255.

You can help Ky'mere and Dayana's family by donating via GoFundMe.

"Anyone who knows Dayana knows she was the sweetest and most generous person you would ever meet. She would literally give the shirt off her back to someone in need. Dayana was a hard worker who graduated high school, had 2 jobs one of which she cared for young children and did everything to support her family. She had dreams of becoming a neo-natal nurse. She leaves behind a 3 year old son Kymere who she loved and adored." ~ GoFundMe
