Violent incidents at schools in Buffalo seem to be increasing. With the city still dealing with the shooting and stabbing at McKinley High School, there has been another incident. A teenage student has been arrested for assaulting a teacher, according to Buffalo Police.

The incident took place at Emerson School of Hospitality on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. A 14-year-old girl was arrested. The teacher was transported to Erie County Medical Center. The teacher's current condition is unknown.

Buffalo Public Schools issued a statement about the incident,

It has come to our attention that an arrest has been made regarding an assault on the teacher at Emerson High School. All further inquiries should be sent to the Buffalo Police or the District Attorney’s Office as this is now a legal matter.

Arrest Made In Stabbing At McKinley High School, Teen Captured

Recently, former Buffalo Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Kriner Cash retired, seemingly in response to the ongoing issues at McKinley. There has been an increase in concern since the incident at McKinley. A teenage suspect was arrested for the stabbing at McKinley High School in Buffalo. Police moved quickly to apprehend a suspect in the violent incident that happened at the school on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. A 14-year-old was stabbed and a security guard was shot in the leg. A 17-year-old male was captured by police in connection to the school violence. The suspect's name has not been released. The victim received multiple stab wounds and was taken to Oishei Children’s Hospital, where he is recovering, according to WIVB.
