BUFFALO
Spring Egg-stravaganza at Tifft nature preserve give you the opportunity to meet live animals, make crafts, games, refreshments, and go on guided hikes. On Friday 3/30 at 2pm. Registration is required and tickets cost $7 per person.
30 Kingdom Kulture Youth will celebrate their first Day of Service this Saturday 3/31 at the Compass House Resource Center, located at 1451 Main Street from 10am to 1pm. Compass House meets the basic needs of runaway and homeless youth ages 12-17, through immediate access to crisis counseling, meals and temporary housing. The youth will hear stories from Compass House residents, and in recognition of Easter/ Resurrection Sunday participate in GIVING back by preparing food bags, separating clothing and painting. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the Buffalo Zoo on Saturday 3/31 at 9am or 11am. Advanced tickets are required - non-members are $18 for adults and $15 for children, kids under the age of 2 are free.
Easter weekend at the Botanical Gardens. On Friday 3/30, the Spring Flower Exhibit will have over 22,000 blubs on display in the “Gratitude Garden” inspired by Tibetan Prayer Flags. The kiddos can see the Easter Bunny will visit from 10am-5pm. On Saturday 3/31 from 10am-4pm is the Wegmans Family Day Spring Celebration. The Garden will also be open from 10am-5pm on Easter.
The Festival of Easter Season at the Broadway Market will be open now through Dyngus Day (except Sunday). The kids can get pics with the Easter Bunny daily from 10am-close.
TONAWANDA
Adventure Landing’s 34th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday 3/31 at 9am and 11am, with three different age groups per hunt for kids ages 3-10. The cost is a $3 per child donation that will benefit the Variety Club of Western New York.
GRAND ISLAND
The Grand Island Recreation Department is holding an Easter egg hunt from 10am-1pm on Saturday 3/30 in Miracle Field. The Grand Island Memorial Library will have additional activities, including a scavenger hunt, crafts, giveaways, and The Checkers Show including comedy, magic and juggling, starting at 11am.
