Drake is back in the for a couple of reasons that has the internets streets buzzing again. The long teased R&B album that he's been working on since 2024 is out and there are a lot of reasons why you should check it out, especially if you are from Buffalo and Western New York.

$ome $exy $ongs 4 U, the newest album to drop from the 6god, which is a collaboration with his GTA partner PartyNextDoor, is a 21-track R&B styled album that features production from PND, Earl on the Beat, Gordo, and more has taken the internets by storm since it was released on at Midnight on Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14, 2025. This album marks another edition of the team-ups these two OVO Sound members have had since PND came on the scene in 2014 and has received some positive and negative feedback since dropping.

Quite a few reviews have come out expressing mixed opinions about the project, with XXL Mag mentioning how this project is the first release since Drizzy squabbled up with K.Dot. Revolt calls out some immediate standouts from the album like CN Tower and Crying In Chanel, while The Hollywood Reporter calls the record a bloated snoozer.

Regardless of the worlds opinon of it, there is one thing that's clear, Buffalo remains on Drake's mind as he again draws a connection to the American city that helped raise him.

On the second track of the album, Drake takes a moment in Moth Balls to rap:

As the people of Buffalo know, just like Bills fans worldwide, the stress that comes when you are struggling to gain success is real, which is something Drizzy points out with these bars. While some may think this reference may come too soon after the Bills playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, it actually comes right on time as a reminder to keep striving towards your goal, just like Drizzy has done after surviving lyrical shots over the last few months.

In any event, Drake's connection to the 716 is clear, and the people of Buffalo appreciate the love and support.
