Dr, Martin Luther King is often identified by his "I HAVE A DREAM" Speech...however, Dr. King did far more REALIZING than he did DREAMING!

Among the hundreds of speeches which exists, but we never hear, there is one that has just surfaced.  Listen to this very MOVING and INSIGHTFUL speech from Dr. King from1962 that was just released on Monday, January 20, 2014 by the New York State Museum.

According to an article in the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle (online), the speech was recorded on Sept. 12, 1962, at the Park-Sheraton Hotel in New York City, where Gov. Nelson Rockefeller had convened his state Civil War Centennial Commission. It was delivered at a dinner celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the preliminary Emancipation Proclamation.  This is the ONLY known recording!
