A Dozen People Were Arrested In Buffalo For Illegal Guns, Drugs
A police search of a Buffalo home resulted in 12 people being arrested for illegal guns and drugs. The drug and weapons bust was the result of a joint investigation by the New York State Police and Buffalo Police Department. The focus was to stop the flow of illegal weapons and drugs in Buffalo's Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood. The 'dirty' dozen were arraigned on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, before Buffalo City Court Judge Andrew C. LoTempio.
On Tuesday, March 3, 2022, at approximately 9 am, New York State Police and Buffalo Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence. Inside the home on Concord Street, the task force found 12 adults. They recovered five illegal guns, including a 'ghost gun.' One gun had been reported stolen from Huntsville, Alabama in December of last year. Investigators also allegedly found crack, heroin, drug paraphernalia, and a digital scale.
The 12 suspects were each charged with multiple felonies:
