Dave East Put On A Great Show In Buffalo
Four months into 2026, and this year's concert season is well underway. With shows of all sizes hitting Western New York this year, fans of all music genres will have plenty of things to do to keep themselves busy and entertained this year.
One of the shows that people were really looking forward to was the return of the East Coast rhyme spitter Dave East.
East, born David Brewster, a Harlem, New York, based rapper who has been on the music scene since 2010 when he released debut mixtape Change of Plans, and has released several projects over the years to critical acclaim, including hits with NaS, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, ASAP Ferg, Bobby Shmurda, Snoop Dogg, Fabolous, Rick Ross, and countless more.
In addition to being an elite East Coast rhymer, East is a baller as well, having played College Ball at the NCAA Division I level for both the University of Richmond and Towson University.
Dave East hit the stage in Buffalo on 716 on Saturday, April 4, 2026, and put on a great show inside the historic Showplace Theater in Buffalo's Black Rock Neighborhood. With musical support from several Buffalo artists who are on the come up, including Shogun Wiz & Danny Don Dada, 40 Acres Fratelli, HefeBossUp, Steez & Luiz, $$Dill, Tommyx7, Genecist, and Michelle Visa, rap fans in Buffalo got a great show that went well into the night.
When Dave East finally hit the stage, he did exactly what was expected and delivered over an hour of raw lyricism, commanding presence, and undeniable energy, he reminded Buffalo why his name continues to hold weight in hip-hop. The entire experience unforgettable.
