For week 17 of 26 free and inclusive Monday night community bike rides, Slow Roll Buffalo's Langfield-Leroy Ride will gather at the Martha Mitchell Community Center behind Olmsted at Kensington School 156.

This Monday's 10-mile roundtrip route includes neighborhoods Kenfield, Schiller, Grider, Leroy, Central Park and Kensington along major streets Eggert, East Delavan, Bailey, Kensington, Main, Fillmore and East Amherst, guided by our trained squad of more than 100 volunteers. Two "mass-up" stops allow for regrouping while community stakeholders inform riders of history, events and issues in the immediate area, with the African Heritage Food Co-op Kiddie Kickstand crew selling drinks and snacks for $1 cash.

We'll return to the Martha Mitchell Center for an afterparty with food, drinks, music and fellowship.

In standard Slow Roll structure, the ride the cover 10 miles at a leisurely pace of around 10 miles per hour, with cyclists of all ages and skill levels guided by more than 100 Slow Roll Squad volunteers and a Buffalo Police Department motorcade. Two "mass-up" stops allow for regrouping while community stakeholders inform riders of history, events and issues in the immediate area.
