Local Buffalo Community Activist Removed from His Position

Why is not clear; however, long-time community activist Dwayne Ferguson has been removed from serving with Peacemakers and Mad Dads.

Ferguson had been involved in a controversy about a year ago when he brought a gun to a school where he frequently worked with students to encourage to mentor them.

According to WGRZ NEWS, that incident had no bearing on his dismissal from either organization.
