Coffee has quickly turned into modern art – beyond the familiar “latte art.”

There was a Valentine’s Craft and Gift Showcase at The Wurlitzer Building over the weekend, and while I saw a lot of similar products for sale at the various vendor booths, one particular individual and their talents caught my eye, and I have to share it with you.

John Kindelan is an artist like you have never seen before; he doesn’t use paint on his canvas, but rather coffee.

Yup, I said coffee.

Known from his Instagram bio as “the Pop Culture Barista Artista,” Kindelan is a locally based artist from Buffalo who “espressos” himself in his artwork, which you can find at local craft shows.

He also accepts DMs if anyone is interested in commissions, and it is the perfect unique gift for a friend, family member, or a loved one.

Lately, he has been creating coffee art based on funko pops! Take a look at some of his recent look below.

This one is probably my favorite.

What a unique way to make art!
