A car crashed into a home in a Fruit Belt neighborhood around 3 am Saturday. The home is located at the corner of corner of Carlton and Lemon Streets, according to WGRZ. The accident caused serious damage to the structure. The driver of a 2005 Dodge ran into another vehicle, then hit the home. Both drivers and a passenger were taken to hospitals with non life-threatening injuries. The home owner was sleeping when the accident happened.

Fruit Belt Home Hit By Car For Second Time

This is not the first time a car has crashed into the home. The owner, Sherry Middlebrooks, told Channel 2 that a person crashed into her porch in September of this year. She said that she couldn't believe that another car hit her home. In the first accident, a car destroyed her porch,

"They demolished the porch, and I was waiting for the porch to be fixed. And then tonight they ran into it, and the whole inside is damaged. It's not even livable. They come through here all day and all night flying through here without any consideration for people living here. Kids are out here playing, and it's not safe."

Sherry will have to find another place to stay until her home is repaired. Hopefully the driver's car insurance or her home-owners insurance will take good care of her.
