Just this past Friday Skeese dropped his new single "Suede Uppers" produced by Mitch Arizona, on all streaming outlets.
When you listen to this track Jae Skees takes you on a journey with his lyrics that provides a great depiction of his love for kicks and taking us back to his life experiences like little league football, basketball and so much more. You're probably like ADRI where do you pick that up at? Well when Jae Skeese shares in the song
"Nixxa hate you from the age of little leagues and skate covers"
This alone takes me back to when I would be at the games and see the young men run out on the field of little league football with skate covers on to match their uniform.
"I'm maintaining my proper form just like I drain jumpers"
Here Jae Skeese is again referencing yet another sport
"Rock Air Ones and 327's, that's checks and balances"
Here is yet another reference to sneakers. I'm certain you have to be familiar with Air Force Ones but don't forget that the number he mentioned "327" is the classic New Balance Sneakers. Do you get it now, when say "That's Checks and Balances".
I could continue to break this song down in so many ways because I enjoyed every bar he spits but what I also appreciate is the ear of his producer Mitch Arizona. The way Mitch Arizona put together this dope beat speaks to the type of ear he posses.
