Buffalo Teenagers Take Lemonade Stand to New Levels
As you know WBLK had "Lemonade Day" last month where we encouraged young people to build their own lemonade stand and become entrepreneurs for a day! Well these two young men have decided to keep their stand going and are taking it to new heights.
I was driving down Delavan Avenue and Rosyln on Buffalo's east side and was intrigued by a lemonade stand I saw. One of the best ones built might I add. It was a hot day so I decided to get out and support by grabbing a quick drink. I was greeted by two high schoolers named Davontae Davis & Tyshawn Thomas. Their goal is to get a storefront next year to sell their unique drinks.
They had a variety of lemonade flavors I've never tried including watermelon and blueberry. The lemonade is fresh squeezed daily! They also offer baked goods and candy. We had a great conversation about education and becoming business owners . In their spare time they enjoy music and playing football. Stop by and support these gentleman . They could be out here doing anything but they're working and doing the right thing . #salute Check out the pics below!!
