The Buffalo Bills will report to training camo at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, one week from today. It will be the first training camp held at St. John Fisher since 2019.

The Bills are the favorites to win the Super Bowl in 2022. They have arguably the best roster in the NFL and many believe they would have won the Super Bowl this past postseason, had it not been for the 13 second debacle in Kansas City.

Maintaining your core players and of course, having Josh Allen helps with those high expectations. The Bills only had one glaring need on the entire team, which was a viable, elite pass rusher. They filled that by signing edge rusher, Von Miller in free agency.

The Bills also added the likes of Rodger Saffold and David Quessenberry along the offensive line, Jamison Crowder at wide receiver, O.J. Howard at tight end, Case Keenum at backup quarterback and Tim Settle and Jordan Phillips at defensive tackle.

The best case scenario for the Bills is likely a 13-4 or 14-3 record and winning the AFC with a trip to Super Bowl 57.

But what about the worst case scenario?

We would rather not think about that, of course, but it's at least a possibility.

If the Bills stay healthy, the worst case scenario might only be 11-6 -- they have a roster that is that good. However, worst case scenario does involve an injury and that would be an injury to Josh Allen.

Allen has stayed healthy since he was hurt in 2018 and missed a few games. Nathan Peterman and Matt Barkley split time until Allen returned.

The good news is that even with a potential Allen injury, the Bills are not bad enough to miss the playoffs. Case Keenum was traded for by GM Brandon Beane for this exact scenario.

Keenum's style is not Allen, not even close. But he is capable of winning games on a good roster and took the Minnesota Vikings to the NFC Championship game in January of 2018. You might remember the Minneapolis Miracle play -- Keenum to now Buffalo Bills receiver, Stefon Diggs.

Worst case scenario for the Bills would be an Allen injury, but the Bills would still make the playoffs as a wild card team behind Keenum.

Let's just hope and assume for the best case scenario, though.
