The Buffalo Bills will be reporting to St. John Fisher College in Pittsford, NY (Rochester) in two and a half weeks, and that means we are inching closer to the start of another regular season campaign.

For Bills fans, these past two off-seasons have been special. That's because they're the first two off-seasons in 25-plus years where the country and the rest of the league views them as a legitimate contender. In fact, this year the Bills are the 2022 Super Bowl favorites.

The Bills are the oddsmakers' pick to win the whole thing this upcoming February in Arizona. If you ask most Bills fans, they are predicting between 12-14 wins and an AFC one seed crown.

However, despite those lofty expectations, the Bills are actually entering week 1 as an underdog.

The Bills are currently, as of July 5th, one-point underdogs against the defending Super Bowl champs, the Los Angeles Rams.

The Bills will play at the Rams on Thursday Night Football on September 8th to open the 2022 NFL regular season.

The Rams return with most of their roster intact, except for veteran safety Eric Weddle to retired again and star edge rusher, Von Miller, who signed a seven-year contract with the Bills in March.

The Bills and Rams week 1 matchup could be a preview of the Super Bowl in February. Other than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Rams might be the next favorite in the NFC to go all the way, while the Bills are the favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

That point line might move. In fact, I'm almost banking on it, considering it's July and we sttill could have injuries and other factors that make that a pick-em game or even a one-point in favor of the Bills.
