Buffalo Bills Rookie Says Buffalo “Smells Like Cheerios” [VIDEO]
The Buffalo Bills will conduct their final OTA of the spring this week at One Bills Drive in Orchard Park.
Next week, they will have their only mandatory minicamp of the spring, which begins on June 14th. Every player must attend the minicamp, while OTA's are still voluntary.
The Bills new rookies will likely report to training camp in July before the veterans, as they try and get accustomed to life in Western New York and more work with the coaching staff, as they begin their NFL journey.
It's also become a tradition for the Bills to take their rookies around Buffalo, giving them a tour of the area.
This past week, the Bills conducted their rookie tour and stopped by KeyBank Center to show the rookies the Buffalo Sabres and Bandits locker rooms. They also went on the lacrosse field to try their hand at the game.
It looked like all the Bills rookies had fun on the field at KeyBank Center.
At the start of the video, Bills 2022 first round pick, Kaiir Elam stepped off the bus and said that "it smells like Cheerios," in Buffalo.
They were near KeyBank Center and all Buffalonians know that the smell of the General Mills factory is at its strongest near the arena, canalside and by the Buffalo River and grain silos.
My favorite smell is when it's Trix. Cheerios are great too, but when I get that whiff of Trix in the air, you know it's about to be a great day.
