11 Players On the Bills Injury Report; Might Not Play Against Miami
The Buffalo Bills are on a short week for their upcoming road game against the Miami Dolphins. The Bills defeated the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football by a score of 41-7.
The Dolphins won a thrilling game in Baltimore against the Ravens, as Miami came storming back to win with a touchdown pass from Tua Tagovailoa to Jaylen Waddle with less than 20 seconds remaining.
The Bills are considered the best team in the NFL with Miami being a new contender who is also 2-0, so this should be the best NFL game of the week — especially in the 1 pm slot.
The Bills, however, have a long injury list. Defensive tackles Ed Oliver and Tim Settle missed Monday’s game, along with wide receiver Gabriel Davis.
The Bills released their first injury report of the week and it’s very long. 11 players are on the Bills injury report, including Dawson Knox and Jordan Poyer, who come as a slight surprise.
The only two full participants were linebacker Matt Milano, who left Monday night’s game with a stinger and cornerback Cam Lewis with a forearm injury.
Gabe Davis, Mitch Morse, Tim Settle and Ed Oliver were all limited in practice, while Micah Hyde, Dane Jackson, Dawson Knox and Jordan Phillips all did not practice altogether. Wednesday was a walkthrough session
It looks good for Milano to play and hopefully getting Monday’s game off will mean Davis, Settle and Oliver will suit up in Miami.
As for the Dolphins, tackle Terron Armstead and cornerback Xavien Howard did not practice on Wednesday. Armstead with a toe injury and Howard with groin injury.
If the Bills don’t have the likes of Dane Jackson and/or Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer, that means that Hill and Waddle will try and take advantage of Kaiir Elam and Christian Benford, two rookie cornerbacks.
The Bills are favored to win at Miami but the injuries are now a very real concern.
