According to WGRZ, Western New York will be well represented at the Nations Capital next week for President-Elect Joe Biden's inauguration. Niagara Falls native, Reverend Dr. Silvester Beeman has been chosen to give the benediction. Reverend Dr.Silvester Beeman is a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and a long time friend of Joe Biden.

In a recent statement by the Presidential Inaugural Committee, Reverend Dr. Silvester Beeman is the Pastor of Bethel Methodist Episcopal Church in Wilmington Delaware. He has known the Biden family for a very long time, nearly 30-years and he is very close to the President-Elect. Reverend Dr. Silvester Beeman was also extremely supportive of Joe Biden's son, Beau, who was a decorated Delaware National Guard and Delaware's former Attorney General.

We are thrilled to announce an inspired group of dynamic participants for the 59th Inaugural Ceremonies, They represent one clear picture of the grand diversity of our great nation and will help honor and celebrate the time-honored  traditions of the presidential inauguration as President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris take the oath of office on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol.
