Food Network: One Of The Best Pastas in Buffalo
One of the most well-known Italian restaurants in Western New York was just recognized by the Food Network as having one of the best pasta dishes in the entire United States of America.
Chef's Restaurant in Downtown Buffalo has a lot of great things on its menu. In fact, they are one of my favorite lunch spots, and you can also find me at their drive-up window ordering me a quart of their red sauce to-go. Knowing these things, I am not surprised that the Food Network has ranked their Spaghetti Parmesan as one of the best pasta dishes in the country.
It's not hard to see why people across the country rank it so highly. Chefs take their specialty made thin spaghetti, cook it al dente, then toss in butter and their red meat sauce before smothering it in parmesan, romano, and sliced mozzarella cheeses, then they broil it all for a couple of minutes to make a purely perfect paste plate.
Once the plate arrives at your table, all you need to do is stick your fork in, dip the spaghetti into the small bowl of marinara sauce you have on the side, and enjoy.
Chefs, having served the community since 1923, have had this dish on their menu for 60 years and I can see why. Congratulations to another Buffalo staple being recognized nationally for the quality that we all know and love!
All this food talk means I need to take a trip down there right now.
