Western New York has been making a lot of news in the music business lately. If you haven't noticed, some of the best hip-hop has been coming from the 716 lately. This, of course, means the center of New York hip-hop has been in Buffalo, New York.

Westside Gunn's Griselda Records, Conway The Machine's Drumworks Music Group, and Benny The Butcher's Black Soprano Family Records have been blazing a path of banger after banger for the last few years.

Coming off the release of his end-of-summer EP Buffalo Butch Vol. 1, featuring collabs with Fabolous and Drake, Buffalo's Benny The Butcher is teaming up again with Rochester native 38 Spesh for part two of their series Stabbed and Shot 2.

The first Stabbed and Shot, which dropped in February 2018, was a solid hip-hop mixtape featuring ten tracks from The Butcher and 38 Spesh. Emanny, Styles P, and Jadakiss hopped on songs with 38 Spesh and Benny as the duo went back and forth in a way that can only come from a New York partnership.

Collaborations between the two rappers go so well that they had to bring back part two, and they're also releasing a special edition vinyl record to go along with it.

Stabbed and Shot 2 features 16 tracks with verses from Ransom, ElCamino, Klass Murda, OT The Real, & Busta Rhymes with beats produced by V Don, StreetRunner, Chup the Producer, Daringer, Harry Fraud, and more.

The vinyl, a translucent goldish color with an embossed pistol image, is sure to quickly become a collector's item. You can check out the vinyl options on Benny's and 38 Spesh's Instagram pages.

If you want to pick up a copy of Stabbed & Shot 2, it goes on sale Friday, October 18, 2024, and physical copies of the album can be purchased here.
