Should He Have Been Fired?

I'm posing the question; should he have been fired, ONLY because "this guy" (undeserving, in my opinion of having his actual name mentioned ... so I'm referring to him as "this guy") says he didn't know it was racist. HUH??????

Well, both his EXCUSE and reasoning for posting the Tweet are possibly more ridiculous than what he actually did (my opinion), saying he didn't know.
