Attend the Free ‘A Taste of Mardi Gras’ Community Day at East High School

East Community High School is hosting a free "A Taste of Mardi Gras" ​event. Get the details!

You and your family will have a chance to learn about New Orleans history and traditions! You'll be able to make Mardi Grais masks and floats (for a parade on March 9th). There will be other activities, including SAT Prep classes, the PAL 3:3 Basketball League Tournament (High School Division), beginner urban ballroom dancing, self defense class and more! You will also be able to get applications the Mission Ignite free computer giveaway program!

The event begins at 10 am and free breakfast will be served. East Community High School is located at 820 Northampton Street.
