Renown Conductor Anthony Parnther Talks Music, Buffalo, and More

One show that is sure to bring a smile to the faces of music fans all around the area is happening on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo's Lower West Side neighborhood and will feature orchestral music from some of the greatest tv shows and movies.
Hooray for Hollywood brings us the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra playing music from blockbuster movies like Back to the Future and Citizen Kane, along with TV shows like Tom and Jerry and The Mandalorian, featuring vocals Sirgourney Cook with the entire night lead by the world renown conductor and maestro Anthony Parnther.
Who Is Anthony Parnther
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Anthony Parnther is a conductor, bassoonist, cellist, and educator who has been praised for his talent and instrumental fluidity. His musical abilities are advanced to the point where his style has been described as the ultimate in tonal purity.
In addition to his duties as the Music Director of the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra in California, Parnther actively tours the world leading different orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Los Angeles Opera, Detroit Symphony, Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Los Angeles Opera, the World Opera Forum in Madrid, Spain, Vancouver Symphony, and now the Grammy Award Winning Buffalo Philharmonic.
If this all didn't seem like a full schedule for Parnther, he's also conducted and recorded on some of the biggest movies and television shows around. His credits include The Simpsons, Looney Tunes, Family Guy, The Lion King, Coming 2 America, Empire, Moana, Star Trek Beyond, and Star Wars: Episode IX -The Rise of Skywalker just to name a few, as well as working with several artists like Rihanna, Rza, Kanye West, Imagine Dragons, and several more.
