Here Are The DJs Rocking During The 2024 93Hour Mixgiving Weekend

Since the holiday season unofficially officially started after Halloween, the arrival of Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 28, 2024, means we can stop feeling weird about it. But since we're in the mood, I know lots of folks can't wait for Thanksgiving to wrap up wrap so we can get all sorts of shopping and holiday cheer on Black Friday and beyond.

But before we start eating turkey and Mac & Cheese, we must remember the reason for the season and give thanks for all of the blessings bestowed upon us this year.

Why Do We Celebrate Thanksgiving Now?

According to the Archives of the United States House of Representatives, Thanksgiving is a Federal Holiday that, in the words of President George Washington, is a day of public thanksgiving and prayer and has been that way since 1786.
